There are two ways to keep unwanted users at bay.
- Blocking Individual Users: You can permanently block individual members to prevent any contact with them. This can be done via their respective profile (under the options menu) or directly within a conversation via the title bar options. Once you've blocked someone, you won't receive any more messages, likes, profile visits, or updates from that member. However, the blocked member can still view your profile.
You can find an overview of all the profiles you've blocked under Settings > Blocked members.
- Excluding Specific Groups of People: Under Settings > New contacts in the Privacy section, you can specify who can contact you. Existing contacts will be excluded. For instance, you can set it up so that only people who match your filter criteria can send you a new message. Additionally, you can choose to allow only people from your country to get in touch with you.
For example, let's say you're looking for men aged between 20 and 30 from the US (assuming you live in New York). Only this specific group of people should be allowed to message you. In your filter, select "only male," "20 years to 30 years," "Only people matching my filter," and "Only people from my country."
